The Fatal Exception Error

published on 06.08.2010 in Performance

In a computer system everything can appear to be running smoothly until one small little issue can cause an entire shut down of a program. Usually these types of errors are referred to as exception error, or Fatal Exception Errors, as they usually shut down an entire program unexpectedly. Listed below are the reasons that exception errors typically occur as well as ways that you can try to prevent these errors from happening again and again.

Typically Fatal Exception Errors occur for these reasons:
1. An instruction within the software’s code has become corrupt and incorrect.
2. There is invalid code or data within an entry which is causing an issue.
3. There are severe errors in the basic programming of the code within a program, instructions to drivers or external programs, or major conflicts between two programs.
4. The computer has started to over heat and the referenced data or memory is longer able to be located.
5. There is a physical breakdown of one component within the computer itself.

As there are so many different causes of exception errors there are many different ways of resolving the issues. If the issue that is causing the exception error is within the program itself then there is nothing more that can be done other than correct the data that is wrong. If the issue that is causing the exception error is due to overheating then the computer must be cooled down. If the issue that is causing the exception error is related to a broken physical component of the system then that piece must be repaired or replaced.

There might be times when the exception error is caused by an invalid entry within the registry. If this is the cause of your exception error then the best thing to do is to clean out the registry of your system. Many times a PC software repair tool will do this for you automatically and quickly fix all the issues that are causing the exception errors to occur.
