How to enable Javascript?

published on 07.10.2011 in System

To view Google ads on a website, you will  have to enable JavaScript in your browser. The instructions below will explain just how to do that:
If you are using:

Internet Explorer (6.0):

A. Select ‘Tools’ in the drop menu
B. Select ‘Internet Options’
C. Choose the ‘Security’ tab
D. Click on ‘Custom Level’
E. Scroll until you see section labled ‘Scripting’
F. Selecting that will bring you to the next step under that, which is to select  ‘Active Scripting’,then select ‘Enable’ and click OK.

Netscape Navigator (4.8):

A. Select ‘Edit’ from the drop menu
B. Click on ‘Preferences’
C. Choose ‘Advanced’
D. Select  ‘Scripts & Plugins’
E. Select ‘Enable JavaScript’ put a check and click OK.

Mozilla Firefox (1.0):

A. Select ‘Tools’ from the drop menu
B. Choose ‘Options’
C. Click on ‘Web Features’ from the left navigation
D. Select that checkbox next to ‘Enable JavaScript’ and click OK.

Mozilla Firefox (1.5):

A. Select ‘Tools’ from the drop menu
B. Choose ‘Options’
C. Click on ‘Content’ from the top navigation
D. Select that checkbox next to ‘Enable JavaScript’ and click OK.

Apple Safari (1.0):

A. Select ‘Safari’ from the drop menu
B. Choose ‘Preferences’
C. Click on ‘Security’
D. Select that checkbox next to ‘Enable JavaScript’.

Keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.
It is a good idea to double-check to make sure that JavaScript is still enabled if you notice issues while displaying Google ads.
Also, if your JavaScript setting is set at ‘Prompt’, you may encounter a warning about downloading potentially dangerous scripts from a website that displays Google ads.

If you are still having issues viewing the ads after ensuring that JavaScript is enabled in your browser, check to see if you have any personal firewall or security software installed, which may be causing the issues.
