Installer errors are perhaps the most frustrating of all errors as them come at a time when they are required to do something new on the system. The most often times that installer errors will occur are when new programs are bought or downloaded, or a new piece of hardware is being installed, and there is a requirement of software to be installed. However, when these installer errors occur they will often prevent the ability to use the new addition to the system and ruin the excitement being able to use them.
>Installer errors are generally caused by errors within the code of the installer programs software. If this is the case then there is only one real option, which is to find either a new version of the software that is not filled with errors; or to get a different piece of software that is able to install the required data to allow the new program or hardware to work. The easiest way to find a newer version or uncorrupted is to visit the manufacturer of the software and look for newer versions.
If there are no reported bugs in the installer that would be causing these errors then the next thing to examine is the operating system that is being used. The first thing to look at is to see if the software is compatible with the version of the operating system. If the operating system that is being used is an older version, such as Windows 95, and the software does not support this system then another installer must be located or the operating system has to be upgraded to avoid these installer errors.
If the operating system is supported, and all the requirements of the installer are met, then there might be issues within the operating system itself. Many times errors that cannot be explained are caused by issues within the Windows registry itself. If all of the attempts to update and use different installers have been tried the best thing to do is to download a registry cleaner and run a full scan of the system. Many times these full and deep scans will identify issues that can cause installer errors and remove them. Once these errors are deleted and removed then the installer should be run again as it is possible to avoid these errors after the system was fully cleaned.
